Massage treatment essentials - hot stones, oil and towels

Every treatment is built around your individual needs - nurturing the body rather than combating it, and supporting its natural ability to restore balance.

Neuromuscular Therapy

Neuromuscular Therapy is a specialised form of manual therapy that focuses on the treatment of soft tissue pain and injuries. Its primary goal is to address the root causes of chronic pain originating from the muscular and nervous systems. This clinically-oriented massage therapy targets trigger points, enhances circulation, relieves nerve compression, tackles postural concerns, and addresses biomechanical issues often stemming from repetitive motion injuries. Neuromuscular Therapy is tailored to your specific needs and may involve hands-on techniques like deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and stretching exercises.

Lomi Lomi Massage

Lomi Lomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage technique where the therapist uses their forearms, hands, and elbows. The massage is given in a fluid, rhythmic motion which feels like gentle waves moving over the body. This massage style is deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture and spirituality, and it goes beyond just physical relaxation; it aims to promote harmony and balance in the body, mind, and spirit.

90 min - €100

Pregnancy Massage

A gentle full body massage tailored exclusively for expecting mothers. Pregnancy massage is crafted to provide relief from the discomforts often experienced during pregnancy, including issues like backaches and fatigue in the legs and feet. Pregnancy massage is suitable after the first trimester. Please check that your midwife or GP is happy for you to proceed with massage therapy before booking.

60 min - €70 / 90 min - €100

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage combines the benefits of traditional massage techniques with the healing properties of heated lava stones. The use of heated stones to massage the body creates a deep and extraordinary sense of relaxation, which nurtures and invigorates the body, mind and spirit. The stones are placed over the energy centres of the body and moved around the body, effectively melting away muscle tension through their soothing warmth and gentle pressure.

Holistic Massage

Personalised full body massage incorporating a variety of massage techniques: Swedish massage, deep tissue, Thai massage, trigger point therapy, reflexology and craniosacral therapy. This treatment reduces muscular tension and chronic pain, and increases circulation in high-stress areas of the body.

60 min - €70 / 90 min - €100

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage focuses on reaching and manipulating the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissues in the body. It is designed to release chronic patterns of tension in the body through the use of slower strokes and more direct deep pressure or friction on the contracted areas.

60 min - €70

Reflexology

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves the application of pressure to specific points on the feet and hands. This therapy is based on the theory that these points, known as reflex zones or reflex points, correspond to specific organs, systems, or areas of the body. Applying pressure to these reflex points promotes relaxation and balance, and enhances overall well-being.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the things clients ask me most.

What should I expect at my first treatment?

Your first visit begins with a short consultation - we'll talk through your health history, any areas of tension or discomfort, and what you'd like to get from the treatment. From there I tailor the session to your needs.

Afterwards I may suggest simple stretches, self-care practices, or a treatment plan to support you between sessions. The goal is for you to leave feeling relaxed, informed, and cared for.

Which treatment should I choose?

If you're not sure, don't worry - just mention it in your booking enquiry and I'll recommend the treatment that best suits your needs. Deep tissue and neuromuscular work suit persistent muscular tension, while holistic, hot stone and Lomi Lomi massage are deeply relaxing and restorative.

Is massage safe during pregnancy?

Yes - pregnancy massage is a safe, nurturing way to ease the aches, swelling and fatigue that can come with each trimester. The treatment is adapted with supportive positioning and gentle techniques designed specifically for pregnancy.

If you have any pregnancy complications, please check with your GP or midwife first and let me know before your appointment.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your goals and starting point. A single session is a wonderful reset, while ongoing or persistent tension usually responds best to a short series of treatments. After your first visit I'll give you an honest recommendation - my aim is always to support your body's own ability to heal, not to book unnecessary sessions.

What is Reconnective Healing?

Reconnective Healing is a gentle, hands-off energy therapy developed by Dr Eric Pearl. Rather than manipulating muscle and tissue, the practitioner works with the energy field around the body to support deep relaxation and the body's own capacity to rebalance and heal.

Sessions are calm and restful - you simply lie down, relax, and receive. Many clients describe a deep sense of peace, warmth, or lightness afterwards. It works beautifully on its own or alongside massage treatments.

Are treatments covered by private health insurance?

Some Irish health insurance plans offer partial cover or rewards for complementary therapies provided by a registered therapist. I am a member of ARCHTI - the Association of Registered Complementary Therapists in Ireland. Cover varies by provider and plan, so please check directly with your insurer.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens - just give me as much notice as you can. Please see the cancellation policy for full details on notice periods and fees.
